Sustainability In Design – From Roadmap to Reality
Abstract
Beca will present a number of case studies and actual projects being executed based on their carbon reduction roadmap methodology presented in Adelaide in 2023.
The case studies will draw from Sustainability projects in progress and completed studies from across Becas range of clients in the Food & Life Science (F&LS) Arena, which may (TBC) include:
• Suntory Oceania Landmark Carbon Neutral Facility nearing completion in Queensland
• Malt Europe Energy Switching from Gas to Biomass for Malt Kilning
• Sugar Australia implementation of Heat Pump Technology
The presentation will focus on implementation of roadmap strategy and site Masterplanning activity to bring these projects to life, that achieve sustainable outcomes without compromising on practicality, safety or compliance.
