Biography
Mal has come from Agrifood background having been around the Milling and Automation industry for 20 years. Originally starting his journey in dairy working in the family farming enterprise, he gained a passion for finding ways to keep industries evolving by applying alternative practices & processes. To be able to support business and still be involved today with projects like Robotic upgrades & recycling spent grain for animal feed is testament to his broad knowledge.
Having established a thriving Agricultural Service & Supply business in Western Australia, it was a natural progression to apply the principals that works for farmers, feed lotters & producers, in crushing, convey & control of products and apply to new industries such as Brewing & Distilling. This was the evolution into AFSystems (AFS) which represents the Ag, Food & Seed Industries.
Having our hardware & customised Malt Handling solutions & Automation with recipe management now installed in over 100 Breweries & Distilleries in Australasia, remaining at the forefront of technology to provide AFS customers with the most effective solution given the many restraints that most sites face as Managing Director is critical to successful implementation.
