    Flying into Melbourne Tullamarine Airport

Melbourne Tullamarine Airport is based in Victoria's primary airport, and is the second busiest airport in Australia.  Located 23kms from the city centre, it services domestic and international flights.  


Bus services to and from Melbourne
Melbourne Tullamarine Airport is 23kms from the Melbourne CBD with the journey taking from 25 - 35 minutes however ample time should be allowed for traffic.    Once off the plane, there are various methods of transport available for you.  

Skybus - City Express
SkyBus runs express bus services every 10 minutes between Melbourne Airport and Melbourne CBD, operating all day, every day at a flat rate of $19.75 one-way. Purchase online to save.  Service desks are located at each terminal. View Skybus Timetable here.  

Other Bus Services

Taxis

Taxi ranks are located across from the terminals. Melbourne CBD is approximately a 30 minute fare. Estimate your fare here. The current Melbourne Airport access fee of $3.65 applies to all pick-ups from an airport taxi rank. 

Taxi meters are clearly visible, so you can keep check of your fare as you ride. Late night taxi must be paid for advance. Between 10pm and 5am in Victoria. Melbourne cabs attract additional charges like a late night surcharge from midnight to 5am, a fee for phone bookings, a fee using the Citylink freeway and fee for taxis waiting at the airport rank.
