ABOUT OUR PHOTOGRAPHY

The beautiful photography on the ACS 2024 website is captured by the talented Deni Cupit.

A born and bred Tasmanian with a questionable sense of humour, Deni is a medical scientist specialising in Flow Cytometry and Stem Cell Transplantation, where he has worked as part of a dedicated five-person crew for the past 15 years.

Aside from his day job, Deni is also a dedicated landscape and freelance photographer with a unique mix between nature, urban, and abstract - producing fine art images and homely nostalgia.A self-taught photographer, Deni has been published in Australian Photography Magazine and a number of books sold across the country. He has also worked with nationally and internationally renowned businesses including Nikon, F45 Training, and Let's Go Motorhomes.

As an avid member of the ACS and frequent attendee of the annual ACS conferences, the opportunity to showcase the rugged and world class beauty of Tasmania while incorporating ACS2024 might encourage more than a few attendees to stay a little longer to chase an elusive Aurora Australis, summit a mountain (or two), catch some glowing bioluminescence or visit some of Tasmania's many landmarks - some only minutes from the Hobart CBD. Feel free to contact Deni between now and ACS2024 for any location information and a few out-of-the-way places not shown in your usual tourist brochures.
