PROF JUANITA CROOK
UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA
Dr Crook did her medical training at the University of Toronto, Residency in Radiation Oncology at the Princess Margaret Hospital and is currently a Full Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of British Columbia. She is a staff Radiation Oncologist in Kelowna BC where she has developed image-guided HDR gynecologic brachytherapy, US-planned HDR prostate brachytherapy, HDR interstitial and surface mold penile brachytherapy and permanent seed brachytherapy for breast cancer. She is former president of the Board of the American Brachytherapy Society, recipient of the Thom Shanahan Distinguished Brachytherapy Educator Award and the ABS 2017 Henschke Award.
She is also the first to hold a Brachytherapy Research Chair position in British Columbia.
PROF BETH ERICKSON
MEDICAL COLLEGE OF WISCONSIN
Dr. Beth Erickson is tenured professor and fulltime faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the J. Frank and Vera B. Wilson Professorship in Radiation Oncology. She has written and spoken nationally and internationally on the treatment of Gynecologic and Gastrointestinal malignancies, with a special interest in image-based treatment planning. She has served as a liaison to GEC ESTRO and on the ICRU 89 committee She has been continually active in the American Brachytherapy Society, serving as a member of the board and past president, as well as the ABS GYN Brachytherapy School since its 1995 inception. She was honored with the Henschke Award( 2014) and the Dr. Thom Shanahan Distinguished Brachytherapy Educator Award (2018). She served as section head editor for Gyn for the Journal of Brachytherapy International. Dr. Erickson served as Vice-Chair of the Cervix Committee for the Patterns of Care and QRRO Studies and has served as Chair of the ACR Practice Guidelines for the performance of high dose rate and low dose rate brachytherapy. She has also been active in the Radiological Society of North America, Co-Chairing the Oncologic Imaging and Therapies Task Force and delivering the 2020 Annual Oration in Radiation Oncology. She has been active in ASTRO with teaching activities as well as numerous committees including the MOC/CME, Education, Nominating, and Fellowship as well as serving as Gyn Track Chair and as a member of the Cervical Guideline Task Force. She was Chair of the ASTRO Endometrial Cancer Guideline Task Force and the Annual Refresher Course. She is chair of the Education Council for the ASTRO Board of Directors. She was named Medical College of Wisconsin Alumnus of the Year in 2019. She is blessed with her wonderful husband, Dr. Thomas Wittmann and two adult children, Dr. David Wittmann(Tina) and Jacquelyn Wittmann.

Dr Simit Sapkota is leading Oncologist of country and is vocal advocate of "Quality treatment to all". He is almuni of prestigious Post Gradiuate Institute (PGI -Chandigarh) He is involved in management of all kind of malignancies and has special interest on GI-HPB cancers Gyanecological cancers, Lung cancers and Brain tumors. He is passionate about interstitial brachytherapy for organ preservation and immunotherapy and targeted therapy in in gastro-intestinal/ pancreatic and hepato-biliary cancers. His research interest is in Human Papilloma Virus Infection in Head and Neck cancer pateints.
Dr Subhas Pandit

Dr Subhas is considered one of the leading Oncologist in country. Graduate from prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, he is credited for starting advanced radiotherapy techniques like IMRT and VMAT in country.He has done fellowship in Head & Neck IMRT with Prof. Vincent Gregoire. He has special interest in Head & Neck,Lung Cancer, Breast cancers and Prostate cancer.He is passionate about Interstitial Brachytherapy, Magna-field radiotherapy (Total Body Irradiation, Total Skin Electron Therapy) and molecular oncology. His research interests are Cancer Epidemiology and Quality of Life of cancer patients. He has authored chapters in Radiation Oncology and Neuro-oncology books.
