GETTING TO THE SUNSHINE COAST

Flying into the Sunshine Coast

No official carrier has been nominated for the workshop due to competitive airfares available via the internet.  There are three airlines who fly regularly into Wellington direct from Australia.  Check out the best fares of the day from these airlines.

Sunshine Coast Airport

Sunshine Coast Airport is based in Marcoola, about 14 kilometres from Mooloolaba – less than 15 minutes by car.  There are a few options to get to and from the airport to the city.

Getting around the Sunshine Coast

With the Sunshine Coast being such a spread out place with little towns dotting the countryside and coastline there are various transport alternatives to help you get from A to B. Services include buses, car hire (self drive), limousines and taxis.

Both private and public transport are affordable and convenient and offer friendly service.

In addition to the above options there is also a reliable bus service. The majority of bus services are provided by Sunbus, however regional links are operated by Glasshouse Country Coaches which include the Maleny, Landsborough & Beerwah service as well as the Hinterland Connect.
