Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast

Once a sleepy beachside town, Mooloolaba has now blossomed into an Australian holiday hotspot. Centrally located in the beautiful Queensland region of the Sunshine Coast, Mooloolaba provides shimmering white sand, the bluest ocean and many of Queensland's famous attractions.

Though it offers one of the Sunshine Coast's most attractive beaches, Mooloolaba also offers a beautiful riverfront location with the Mooloolah River running right through it. On the beachfront there are several activities to enjoy including swimming, surfing or fishing, and for those that prefer a little more adventure deep sea fishing is another popular option. Around the area there are a number of companies offering whale watching giving you the opportunity to see these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.

For those that prefer dry land there are picnic and barbecue facilities available just off the beach, or take a walk along the Esplanade. This main strip of Mooloolaba features a number of boutique shops, perfect to pick up a token of your holiday, as well as many restaurants and cafes with alfresco dining, creating the perfect place to soak up the summer sun in Mooloolaba.
