Your opportunity to connect and build relationships with directors, managers, leadership teams and business partners from or aligned with tertiary institutions across Australasia representing those working in the Facilities and Property Services sector. Specifically, delegates are likely to include directors of facilities and estates management; campus operations and facilities managers; project and program managers; environment officers, grounds staff & those working in related disciplines.
The Grounds Workshop program will consist of a series of speakers over two days, Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 November, with the overarching theme being ‘Campus Environments – Campus Experience’ to represent how campus environments have an increasingly greater impact on the campus experience, with a focus on sustainability and health and well-being.
The program is shaping up and will potentially include presentations on landscape design, irrigation & water planning, turf & synthetic surfaces, sustainability and tree management. There will also be two tours as part of the workshop, one being a site tour of Deakin University’s Solar Farm on campus.
