Specifically, delegates are likely to include directors of facilities and estates management; campus operations and facilities managers; project and program managers; environment officers, grounds staff & those working in related disciplines.
The Grounds Workshop program will consist of a series of speakers over two days, Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 November, with the overarching theme being ‘Campus Environments – Campus Experience’ to represent how campus environments have an increasingly greater impact on the campus experience, with a focus on sustainability and health and well-being.
The program is shaping up and will potentially include presentations on landscape design, irrigation & water planning, turf & synthetic surfaces, sustainability and tree management. There will also be two tours as part of the workshop, one being a site tour of Deakin University’s Solar Farm on campus.
