PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES

Conference Proceedings

For both full (4,000-5,000 words) and working conference papers, authors have the option to publish the paper in its entirety or publish only the paper abstract in the conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will be published and distributed online during and through the conference channels. Authors of full and working papers will be required to give their permission (sign a transfer of copyright agreement) to have their manuscript or abstract published in the conference proceedings.

JHTM Special Issue

For prospective authors considering post-conference publication plans, there will be a conference special issue of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management to which authors of selected full and working papers will be invited to submit a paper. For authors of a full conference paper, the manuscript would need to be significantly expanded upon and revised to adhere to JHTM’s author guidelines and paper word limit (6,000-8,000 words). Excellent quality conference papers will be selected for submission and potential publication in the special issue. All selected papers will go through a double-blind review process managed by the special issue editors and the editor-in-chief of the journal. Papers submitted to the special issue will need to comply with the submission guidelines and quality standards of the JHTM.
